Order Processing: When your order request is complete, you will be notified by email that we received your order and individual number automatically will be assigned to your order. We will review your order and if we accept your order and all items you ordered are in-stock, we will attempt to prepare your order for delivery in the next 48 hours. If the items you ordered are out of stock, we will contact you only after we receive availability of product information from appropriate Wholesale Distributor. If delivery is arranged by our licensed premises, then tracking number will be assigned to your order and sent to email provided in your order by our automated system and a common carrier. Our packing department operates Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. If you need to change your order for any reason, please contact customer service as soon as possible. When you personally purchased any product in our brick-and-mortar liquor store and would like you purchased merchandises being shipped with a common carrier, please contact manager on the premises for details.
DELIVERY WITH COMMON CARRIER
Delivery with common carrier: In compliance with local, State and Federal laws all orders of alcoholic liquor through our Ordering System or in-person purchases in our Licensed Premises will be delivered with common carrier such as FedEx, UPS or any other company that uses technology to facilitate the delivery of alcoholic liquor from licensed retail premises to consumers. Effective August 2016 State of Illinois classifies USPS as common carrier permitted to transport and deliver alcohol to consumers, however, this option needs to be explored more closely and at this time is not available. If an order cannot be fulfilled for any reason we will attempt to contact you via e-mail or phone. Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions. Available shipping options are Ground Home Delivery, 2-Day, and Overnight Express. All 2-Day and Overnight delivery services are sole the time from a carrier picks-up the order from our licensed premises and delivered to the recipient. All orders with Overnight and 2-Day delivery service selected may be subject to additional verification. There are no express deliveries on weekends and any weekend delivery requests will be subject to additional charges. Ground delivery service depends on your remoteness from our stores and normally may take from 1 to 5 business days. UPS or FedEx tracking numbers will be automatically e-mailed after shipping label is created, but may not guaranty the package is actually picked-up. ORDER IS CONSIDERED AS SHIPPED ONLY AFTER COMMON CARRIER SCANS AND PICKS-UP YOUR ORDER FROM OUR LICENSED PREMISES. If you have any questions regarding shipping or delivery, please contact our customer service. Order Tracking: When the system is generated the tracking information if available, it will automatically be generated and uploaded to your order information. You can access this information by logging into your account at with Website and clicking on the order history. Available delivery options: We can deliver with ground and express services provided by various common carriers. Alcohol cannot be delivered to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses or any UPS/FedEx stores where alcohol is not permitted in premises. Delivery rates: The Website will automatically calculate all delivery rates provided by common carriers. Delivery rates are based on the weight and dimensions of your order. Any unusual shape bottles, gift sets, 1.75L bottles and items with special packaging may be not available for delivery or may incur additional fees. Delivery of all packages containing alcohol can only be made to an address where an individual at least 21 years old can sign for the shipment during regular business hours. In general we do not deliver Generic Beer due to its wide availability and low prices, however, some expensive "collectible" craft Beer may be ordered for delivery if available. Alcoholic liquor can be delivered to a place of business or residence. Some collectible, rare, allocated or discontinued items cannot be replaced if an accident should happen. Insurance: Under the terms of law, the common carrier is liable for the all damages during the transportation. You may desire to insure your shipment in addition to carriers’ liability and this insurance is available to most destinations. Generally, it is a charge of $.70 per $100 after the first $100. We will pack your order only in certified and approved by common carrier corrugated cardboard boxes with corrugated cardboard inserts or separators and bubbled wraps or Styrofoam peanuts to prevent breakage. Liquor Barn is not and may not be responsible for any damage occurred during the transportation by common carrier. Please contact our customer service and indicate if you would like your order insured. We will secure the coverage on your behalf. It is sole recipient responsibility to inspect package upon delivery for any damage. If content in the package arrives damaged, please inform us of the damage immediately. Clear evidence of damage including all boxes, bottles, etc. will be required to initiate investigation.

Consumers in EU and some other countries where simplified customs procedures permitted may at their own risk use forwarding services like MyUS.com or similar to ship small amounts of alcohol for personal use or consumption. IT IS THE SOLE BROKER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CARRY AND MAINTAIN VALID LICENSE IN THIS STATE.

Nothing contained in Illinois law that prevents the possession and transportation of alcoholic liquor by the possessor for the personal use of the possessor, his family and guests. In most States an individual who is not a minor may transport into or out of the state a reasonable amount of alcoholic beverages for the exclusive purpose of the individual's private use or consumption, and nothing limits or applies to such private actions. It is sole responsibility of Consumers to check with their State laws if they do not prohibit such transportation including by consumer, private or common carrier.
CONSUMER, HIS AGENT OR BROKER ACTING AS AN AGENT MAY ARRANGE HIS OWN CARRIER OR DELIVERY SERVICE. CONSUMER OR HIS AGENT WILL BE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL LABELING, PICK-UP OF THE ORDER FROM OUR LICENSED PREMISES AND SHIPMENT OR TRANSPORTATION OF ALCOHOL. OWNERSHIP OF ALL ITEMS PURCHASED IS TRANSFERRED TO PURCHASER IN OUR LICENSED PREMISES AT THE TIME THE ORDER IS ACCEPTED AND SALE TRANSACTION IS COMPLETED. PURCHASER MUST AGREE TO TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OCCURRED DURING THE TRANSPORTATION AND/OR DELIVERY. COMMON CARRIER OR DELIVERY COMPANY MUST BE LICENSED TO TRANSPORT AND DELIVER ALCOHOL. ANY PERSON OR AGENT OF PRIVATE CARRIER MUST PROVIDE A VALID FORM OF IDENTIFICATION THAT HE IS AT LEGAL AGE TO POSSESS AND TRANSPORT ALCOHOL. SIGNATURE OF SUCH PERSON OR AGENT IS REQUIRED AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP AN ORDER. WHEN ORDER IS ACCEPTED, PURCHASER OR HIS AGENT MUST SUBMIT PRINTABLE ELECTRONIC SHIPPING LABEL CLEARLY MARKED AS "CONTAINS ALCOHOL" TO OUR LICENSED PREMISES VIA E-MAIL IN ALL INSTANCES WHEN COMMON CARRIER IS USED. ANY PERSON WHO PICKS-UP THE ORDER AS AN EMPLOYEE OF A PRIVATE CARRIER OR DELIVERY COMPANY MUST PROVIDE VALID ID AND A COPY OF ORDER INVOICE BEFORE HE CAN PICK-UP THE ORDER. IT IS SOLE CARRIER OR DELIVERY COMPANY RESPONSIBILITY TO VERIFY UPON DELIVERY THAT PURCHASER IS AT LEGAL AGE TO RECEIVE ALCOHOL. PURCHASER MUST ARRANGE ALL PICK-UP SERVICES BY CARRIER OR DELIVERY COMPANY IN THE PERIOD OF FIVE (5) BUSINESS DAYS AFTER PURCHASER IS NOTIFIED THAT HIS ORDER IS ACCEPTED AND ORDER STATUS CHANGES TO "AWAITING PICK UP". ALL ORDERS THAT ARE NOT PICKED-UP IN ALLOCATED PERIOD OF TIME WILL BE CANCELED AND RESTOCKING FEES WILL APPLY.
DELIVERY FOR ORDERS THROUGH OTHER SERVICES
YOU MUST ACCEPT AND AGREE WITH ALL TERMS & CONDITIONS OF THE UNLICENSED SERVICE AND DELIVERY POLICIES OF OUR LICENSED RETAIL PREMISES BEFORE YOU PLACE AN ORDER REQUEST THROUGH THE APP OR WEBSITE OF SUCH UNLICENSED SERVICE.
WHEN AVAILABLE, WE WILL ACCEPT ORDER REQUESTS FROM UNLICENSED SERVICES, WHICH ENABLE YOU TO SEARCH FOR ALCOHOL BEVERAGES AND OTHER PRODUCTS AND PLACE AND SCHEDULE ORDERS. ALL SUCH ORDERS MUST BE PLACED THROUGH THE APP OR THE WEBSITE OF SUCH SERVICE. ALL ORDERS MUST BE REVIEWED BEFORE ACCEPTED AND IF ACCEPTED, ULTIMATELY FULFILLED ONLY IN OUR LICENSED RETAIL PREMISES. ALL ORDERS MUST BE IN REASONABLE QUANTITIES AND DO NOT EXCEED LIMIT ESTABLISHED BY LAW. EACH PRODUCT LISTED ON SUCH SERVICE'S APP OR WEBSITE IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY IN OUR LICENSED PREMISES AT THE TIME WE RECEIVED AN ORDER REQUEST FROM SUCH SERVICE.
ONCE ORDER IS ACCEPTED, WE WILL PACKAGE YOUR ORDER IN OUR LICENSED PREMISES FOR EITHER PICK-UP OR DELIVERY, AS INDICATED BY YOU IN YOUR ORDER REQUEST. THE INDIVIDUAL PICKING-UP THE ORDER OR ACCEPTING THE ORDER SHIPMENT OR DELIVERY MUST PROVIDE A VALID FORM OF PHOTO IDENTIFICATION PROVING THAT HE OR SHE IS AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AND SIGN FOR THE ORDER AT THE TIME OF PICK-UP, RECEIPT OF SHIPMENT OR DELIVERY.
PROOF OF IDENTIFICATION FOR ALL ACCEPTED ORDERS TO BE PACKED FOR PICK-UP OR DELIVERY BY OUR EMPLOYEE OR AGENT MUST BE VERIFIED ONLY IN OUR LICENSED PREMISES. ORDER WILL BE DELIVERED ONLY TO THAT VERIFIED IN OUR PREMISES PERSON, NO EXCEPTIONS. YOUR ORDER REQUEST, PICK-UP, SHIPMENT OR DELIVERY MAY BE DECLINED FOR ANY REASON BY THE LICENSED RETAIL PREMISES, OR DELIVERY EMPLOYEE OR AGENT, OR THE SHIPPING OR DELIVERY COMPANY, OR THAT SHIPPING OR DELIVERY COMPANY’S EMPLOYEE OR AGENT.
WE WILL ATTEMPT TO MAKE DELIVERY BY OUR EMPLOYEE OR AGENT ONLY IN THE TIME FRAME ESTABLISHED BY DELIVERY POLICY OF OUR LICENSED PREMISES, ONLY IN THE 60090 POSTAL CODE NEIGHBORHOODS OR NO MORE THAN TWO MILES VECTOR FROM WHEELING SHOPPING CENTER IN ANY ROSE OF WIND DIRECTION, WHATEVER COMES FIRST AND ONLY WHEN AN ORDER OR QUANTITIES OF THE ORDERS ARE REASONABLE TO BE TRANSPORTED FOR DELIVERY, AT OUR SOLE AND UNLIMITED DISCRETION. ABSOLUTELY NO DELIVERY WILL BE MADE TO ANY INTOXICATED PERSON. ABSOLUTELY NO ANY DELIVERIES WILL BE MADE IN ANY LESS THAN TWO HOURS PERIOD FROM THE TIME AN ORDER WAS ACCEPTED.
ALL ORDERS FOR DELIVERY OUT OF ACCEPTABLE BY OUR EMPLOYEE OR AGENT DELIVERY ZONE MUST BE ARRANGED WITH COMMON CARRIER OR ANY OTHER COMPANY THAT USES TECHNOLOGY TO FACILITATE THE DELIVERY OF ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR FROM LICENSED RETAIL PREMISES TO CONSUMERS.
IT IS NOT THE ABILITY OF LICENSED PREMISES TO ARRANGE WITH COMMON CARRIER DELIVERY TO ANY CONSUMER IN ALL INSTANCES WHEN ORDER IS NOT PLACED THROUGH OUR ORDERING SYSTEM OR BY ANY OTHER LICENSED WITHIN THIS STATE BROKER, BUT NOT THROUGH OUR ORDERING SYSTEM FOR SUCH ORDER TO BE SHIPPED WITHIN OR OUT OF STATE.
ABSOLUTELY NO ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR LOCAL DELIVERY BY OUR EMPLOYEE OR AGENT THROUGH ORDERING SYSTEM OF OUR LICENSED PREMISES AT THIS TIME.
IN STORE PICK-UP
Pickup In Our Stores : You can use the Ordering System and Website to place an order request for personal pick-up at Liquor Barn stores. Please allow at least 24 hours for your order to be processed. You will be contacted via email when your order is ready for pick-up. Please have printed copy of invoice and valid ID ready when you or your assigned agent come to pick-up the order.
WARNING: IN COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LOCAL, STATE AND FEDERAL REGULATIONS LIQUOR BARN WILL SELL ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR OR ACCEPT ORDERS FOR ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR FROM EITHER CONSUMERS OR BROKERS IN THE LICENSED PREMISES AND ARRANGE FOR DELIVERY OF ORDER FROM LICENSED RETAIL PREMISES TO CONSUMERS FOR PERSONAL USE OR CONSUMPTION ONLY AND NOT FOR RESALE IN ANY FORM EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY LAW.
DUE TO “SOLE AND UNLIMITED” DISCRETION OF COMMON CARRIERS, UPS AND FEDEX, ALCOHOL IS NOT ACCEPTED FOR DELIVERY TO CONSUMERS IN SOME STATES SO WEBSITE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ARRANGE DELIVERIES IN THESE STATES WITH THESE COMMON CARRIERS AND YOU WILL NEED TO SELECT ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY LOCATIONS OR SERVICES.
Notice: Please make sure that your order does not exceed 150 lbs. Records for all orders of 20 gallons of alcoholic liquor or more will be kept and provided to the Commission per request as required by law.
In all instances where Liquor Barn will arrange delivery on behalf of consumer, his agent or broker to an address specified by consumer, provided that Liquor Barn in its sole judgment believes that such shipment will not subject Liquor Barn to the risk of any sort of legal action or other harm. Liquor Barn is not responsible for inclement weather throughout the shipping process, extreme heat or cold that may damage the products. Non-Illinois residents are responsible for determining if their state law permits purchases of certain alcoholic beverages.
Return policy: Our goal is that all our customers are satisfied with their orders. Should you need to return an item for any reason, please contact our Customer Service department for specific instructions on returning your product within 14 days of your purchase. Products returned not due to Liquor Barn's fault will be subject to restocking fee and return shipping charges. Returns will be credited to the initial payment method. Returned items must be returned in unopened and salable condition. Return a product: If your product was shipped you may initiate return through Website or contact our Customer Service for specific instructions on returning your product. You will be responsible for shipping charges for the returning items, unless the wrong product was shipped in error by Liquor Barn. Wines older than 5 years are not returnable, nor does Liquor Barn guarantee any of these wines.
Cancel an order: If your product is not packed and shipped, then an order cancellation can be processed immediately. However, if your order has already been packed or picked-up by common carrier than all cancellation fee may apply.
If you personally purchased products in one of our brick-and-mortar store, please return it with receipt of purchase to the store for return processing.
