Excellent value when on sale.
This cognac sold for years at $16 - 17 a bottle. Then about three years ago Hardy decided they were leaving money on the table and bumped the price into the low $20s, and now into the mid to upper $20s. At $24 it's not the bargain it once was, but at $19 on sale, it is. The cognac is smooth and balanced, with just a hint of sweetness. Very good straight up or on the rocks. My go-to brandy when I can get it on sale.
