Excellent spirit, good delivery

It ain't Cask 16
The PR literature gives the impression that this could be the perfect follow up to Cask 16... It's not!! It has a good nose, and starts off smooth, but the finish is astringent and burns. I've been told by some of my lady friends that it mixes well, but this is not a good CR for drinking neat

Doesn't get any better
As a longtime Crown Royal drinker I thought Crown hit he mark with "Cask 16" when that was available. They have surpassed that with Crown XO. Get it while you can and here's hoping XO is around a little longer.
