This is our & our friends favorite whisky. I placed my order & it arrived 2 days later. This is the way to buy it. No need to go to the store & shop as the price is right.
It seems I’m always submitting a new review for this fine whisky. This month I ran out of Kahlua Midnight and I substituted Canadian Club Original 1858......Wow! It’s so simple......just add a shot to your morning coffee and add milk, sugar or whatever you typically add to your morning joe. It’s just that simple......it’s a great way to start your day.......hey, I’m 70+ years old, retired, don’t have to work and am entitled to start my day any way I want to........hmmm, you’re not supposed to end a sentence with a preposition.......so substitute your own noun, pronoun or adjective and enjoy!
My last name is Campbell.....I'm Scottish, I'm frugal and I appreciate a good bargain! Canadian Club Premium Extra Aged Blended Canadian Whisky 1858 sells for a paltry $16.99 for 1.75L bottle here at Liquor Barn.......how can you ignore a bargain like that? I just can't resist; once a month I'm back here to purchase 1 or 2 of the 1.75L bottles. I live in Seattle and we are the highest taxed city in the nation for liquor sales, with Liquor Barn prices and even the delivery charges added in.....I still pay less that I would in Seattle. KUDOS to Liquor Barn!
"The whisky is right on the line of being too sweet; its toes are touching the line, but doesn't cross it. The rye notes save it and add dimension to the whisky. Some dried herbs, and bitter charred barrels are here along with a slickness that comes from the corn. It is a playful whisky; one that shines best on the rocks or in mixed drinks, but could be sipped if required."
I keep coming back to Canadian Club Original 1858.......of course you can spend more, but if you're going to enjoy it mixed with Canada Dry Ginger Ale, why bother? This is my go to drink and if you add just a dash of lime juice or lemon juice, you just can't beat this! The taste is superb and for the price I just don't see how you can go wrong.
