Grand Marnier 100th Anniversary Centenaire
"The 100th Anniversary is deep amber in color with orange zest found in the nose; body is thick, syrupy an buttery; palate shows wonderfully bitter orange zest and dates." 96 Points. -The Wine Enthusiast
I have long enjoyed and admired Grand Marnier. What's not to enjoy, with its full orange taste and round, syrupy feel from end to end. But, when I had the opportunity to try the 100th Anniversary, it was a real treat. It features all of the savory complexity of the regular Grand Marnier but with a subtlety missing from the other. I tried it in a flight, and it was so markedly enjoyable that I knew I would have buy a bottle, regardless of the price. That was many bottles ago, and now, it is a special treat enjoyed by all in our family.
