Baseball season is around the corner and while for many that means ballpark beers, there is still something for cocktail lovers to be excited about. After all, many cocktails are rooted in baseball and carry on the spirit of this American tradition.
Cooperstown Cocktail
Shake up this minty, wet gin cocktail in a shaker filled with ice and then strain into a classic cocktail glass.
1.5 oz Tanqueray Gin
.75 oz Martini & Rossi Rosso Vermouth
.75 oz Noilly Prat Original Dry Vermouth
2 dashes The Bitter Truth Orange Bitters
2 to 3 Mint leaves
Grand Slam
To make this flavorful rum cocktail, put all of the ingredients into a shaker filled with ice and shake. Strain into an Old Fashioned glass and top that off with crushed ice.
2 oz Flor de Caña 18-Year-Old Grand Reserve Rum
.5 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curaçao Ancienne Methode
.25 oz Grenadine
1 oz Fresh lemon juice
Golden Clove
This is also a rum cocktail, although on the sweeter, more playful side. Also made in a shaker full of crushed ice - pour this one into a rocks glass filled with crushed ice.
2 oz White rum (Flor de Caña 4-Year-Old Extra Dry)
1 tsp Cointreau
.5 oz Fresh lime juice
1 tsp Sugar
