This Rum is of subtle and complex nature and is distinguished by its lingering aroma, smooth and balanced flavour with a hint of Oak Wood. It is Nepal's finest Rum since 1959 and can be proudly proclaimed as "Taste of Himalayas".
The Company's flagship, brand, Khukri Rum had been applauded as the Gold Award Winner at the International Rum Festival, Canada in the year 2002. It has also won several distinct quality awards at various International Forums in the past. The inimitable blend of Khukri Rum, using natural spring waters from the upper reaches of the Himalayas, gives the product an aroma which is refreshingly pleasant to the senses. Khukri - Great Nepalese Rum
I purchased this rum in order to prepare the wonderful winter Nepalese drink (with hot water and agave added); although they use honey as their sweetener for this drink in Nepal, we like agave even more! There is a wonderful Nepalese Restaurant in my area and I always take a bottle to the owner for him to have at home during the American holidays. This product is not available in the state in which I reside, and I am very happy to be able to purchase it from The Liquor Barn!
