Henri de Labastide Reserve Bordeaux Red Blend Wine 750ML
2010 looks to be one of the great Bordeaux vintages of all time. The Henri de Labastide certainly furthers that opinion starting with its inky, garnet color. The nose is terrific- crushed berry/cherry with brooding mineral and root spice notes that are mirrored on the palate. This is a weighty wine with the potential to evolve positively over the next 5-7 years, however thanks to the fruit forward nature of this vintage this beauty already displays lots of personality.
